With the Customized Internships Program, the search for your internship placement is done specifically according to your requirements and needs. You define the field in which you would like to intern, the activities you want to perform, or the project you need to develop, and the placement process will get started according to your defined parameters.

As soon as we receive the complete Internship Application Package with three placement options, we will consider your particular case and confirm your acceptance to the internship program within 72 hours. Acceptance is based on the possibilities of our Spanish host organizations to satisfy your academic and professional requirements. The main difference between our Customized Internships and our Standard Internships is that for the customized internship we carry out a personalized search according to your requirements, and for the standard internship you apply for an existing internship position in Barcelona within our host institutions.

Internships Length and Dates

You decide the duration of your internship program, but you should bear in mind that all positions are organized based on a minimum term of eight weeks and a maximum of six months.

When sending your internship application form, please note that the placement process may take up to 10 weeks before your position is confirmed.

For internships in Barcelona, COINED Spain may accept last minute applications for the Customized Internships Program under special circumstances. If you wish to apply for a customized internship less than 10 weeks in advance of your desired start date, please contact us as soon as possible and make sure to mention in your Application Package that you are requesting a "Fast Search Customized Internship".

Your particular case will be evaluated, as well as the possibility of confirming your placement within your required deadlines. You will get a confirmation of acceptance to the program within 72 hours. The Fast Search internship will incur an extra cost.
