Arriving to Spain
On your first day, COINED Spain will welcome you with an orientation talk. You will also receive a welcome folder containing useful
information about Spain and Barcelona. Our staff will also clarify all doubts, concerns, and questions you may have upon arrival about your
internship program.
On this first meeting the Internship Program Coordinator will inform you of your role and the tasks you will be completing
in the host company or organization, as well as the date of your interview at the host company, to which you will go with your COINED Spain tutor.
Student Visa
If you do not belong to any of the European Union countries and your internship program will be over 90 days, you will need to
apply for a student visa. Upon your request, once the internship placement has been confirmed and the full program paid, COINED Spain will issue a letter
of confirmation of your program for the Spanish consulate. Together with this letter you will need to submit: three completed and signed visa
application forms, a valid passport, three recent passport colour pictures with white background, proof of financial means, and travel insurance.
Other additional requirements may apply.
Internships in Spain: Locations
Internships in Barcelona
Most of our internship placements are based in Barcelona city center. We also have some host companies in neighboring towns
such as Granollers or Cornellà. Public transport connection is very good, and you normally do not need to travel longer than 30 minutes.
In Barcelona you can choose a Standard Internship from our list or ask for a
Customized internship.
