It is conveniently located in a practical position in the Mediterranean, causing it to be a major and industrial port for Southern Spain. The relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere attracts foreigners from all over the world. Capital of the Costa Del Sol, Malaga is one of the main tourist regions on the Spanish peninsula and it enjoys an exceptional climate throughout the year.
Malaga is much more than just its beaches and perfect weather. In the capital students can find everything from international basket matches to small local markets. Just on foot students may get to know the Roman Theater, walk around the Alcazaba, the Moorish fort, admire the Renaissance majesty of its Cathedral. For those sport lovers, the beach is the queen in sport matters. Most activities (wind surfing, Jet Skis, parasailing, etc.) are available for adventurous people. At night, there is always a party atmosphere everywhere, the bars and discotheques of Malaga reflect the night life of the city in a wonderful way.
